Manage Storage and Labels

This chapter covers physical storage tasks across the AI client, web interface, and app.

Use the AI agent to locate samples and investigate missing or conflicting locations. Use the Culsma PAWS web or app interface when a visual freezer, rack, box, or label workflow is more convenient.

  • Browse freezers, racks, boxes, and positions.
  • Find unassigned samples or available positions.
  • Assign or move a sample.
  • Scan a sample or storage barcode.
  • Print sample and storage labels.
  • Confirm that the physical and recorded locations agree.

Where is sample PAWS-001 stored? Show the complete recorded location.

List samples in this workspace that do not have an assigned storage location.

Show the samples recorded in box PBMC-04 and include their positions.

Identify the exact sample and destination before moving anything. If the AI agent offers a storage change, review the sample, current location, destination box, and position before approval. After the physical move, search for the sample again and verify that the recorded location matches the real one.

For label printing, confirm the label type, number of copies, and printer selection before sending the print job. Never use a newly printed label until its barcode and visible sample identity have been checked.
